Champion Acres Nursery and Lavender Farm

We are a small family operated nursery in Cottage Grove boasting over 125 different varieties of Lavender. Although Lavender is our focus we also grow a wide array of interesting and unusual perennials, tender perennials, annuals and herbs. Nathan’s Hebe collection keeps growing, 50+ varieties now, and we are always seeking out new plants with bold colors and textures. Our plant selection is reflected by our south facing hillside property; Full Sun. Varieties of sedums, succulents, and drought resistant plants are our mainstay.

We are a wholesale nursery but welcome visitors to arrange appointments. We look forward to our Annual Lavender Open House and Plant Sale July 1-2 from 10am-5pm

You can also find our plants at Lane County Farmer’s Saturday Market from April 1 through June and at many of the regions premier plant sales and nurseries.

Dancing Oaks Nursery

From March 1 to October 31, we are open Wednesday through Saturday 9AM to 5PM. We are flexible, so please call to arrange another day and time during the season or during off season and we will be happy to accomodate you.

We have a Summer Garden Festival with home-made pies, music, crafts, and, of course, plants.

Nestled in the rolling foothills of the coast range we have a 9 year old 1.5 acre display garden and nursery with year round season interest. A wide variety of plants from shade lovers to diminutive rock garden types are featured in the main spring and summer gardens. Steel garden structures made at the nursery are showcased in both gardens. Many of the perennials, shrubs and trees in the display garden are for sale at the nursery. We have a good supply of unusual trees from 1' to 8' in containers. While we do not specialize (we're helpless plant addicts) some of our favorite plants at the moment are Hellebores, Dieramas, Kniphofias, Ginkgos, Mock Oranges,Hebes, Hardy Bananas, etc.

Late winter and early spring are very exciting because we plant hundreds of bulbs each year and we are members of the Oregon Daffodil Society. Steel structures, glazed pots, and large garden chimes are also for sale. We have a special interest in South African and Chilean plants. Visit our website http://www.dancingoaks.com
